Harder-Narasimhan theory for gauged maps

Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss recent techniques developed to construct moduli spaces of decorated principal bundles on a fixed compact Riemann surface. Using these techniques, we construct a Harder-Narasimhan stratification, which can be used to obtain a generalization of the Verlinde formula in the context of decorated principal bundles. This talk is based on joint work with Daniel Halpern-Leistner.
